Forwood Appreciation Week

Day 2: Favorite Forwood Moment

This scene displays everything that I love about Tyler and Caroline perfectly. Caroline saw her father, who has just tortured her, at the Lockwood Mansion, and instead of getting as far from there are she could, she goes upstairs and waits for Tyler to come home, because she feels safe with him. When she gets up to his room, she takes the liberty of making herself at home, she removes her jacket, and lays down on his bed, patiently awaiting his arrival. When he comes home, he is so happy that he gets to come home to her, the look on his face when he walks in and see her there says it all. After she tells him why she is hiding, his first thought is if she is ok. She proceeds to explain her personal conflict, because he is still her dad. But she doesn’t need to explain it, Tyler understands her feelings perfectly, probably better than anyone else could, but he doesn’t turn it on himself, its all about her, and just being there for her. That embrace is one of my favorite moments ever, its so sweet and tender, and beautiful. Then they proceed to tease each other, which is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. And do I really need to explain why I love the last bit so much? I just love this whole scene!
